Who are you?

Hi there, we’re Leafy Creams! We are an independent, vegan-owned, all-vegan bakery based in Wigan with a DIY attitude, 5-star hygiene rating and an honest approach.

We don’t have more than a couple of hands, but we do have a lot of passion and heart. What we aim to do is to bring delicious and accessible vegan cakes to all sorts of people. Be that in our local area, or all over the place through our market stall. We appreciate all of the people who buy 
bakes from us, and we think it’s important to keep our relationship with everyone we meet both open and friendly.
 

We are unapologetic about what we do; we are vegan through and through, and we know how important it is that options are out there, especially ones that you can trust in. That’s why we always aim to be transparent and approachable.
 

Our beliefs are: Vegan. Feminist. Intersectional. Body-posi. We firmly believe in the rights of all beings and that extends to all humans too. We want everyone to love themselves, inside and out.

 

Where are you based?

Wigan, Greater Manchester. Home of the pie.

 

You are too far away from me!

Don't worry! We try to pop up at plenty of Northern Vegan festivals and stalls, so keep an eye on this page to see where we'll be at.

 

Are your products gluten free?

At the moment we do not offer any specifically gluten-free products. We are working from a small, home kitchen and do not have the work space to safely offer gluten-free alternatives to those with gluten allergies. However we do make flapjacks made with gluten-free oats, and protein balls without any gluten that are available at stalls, so these may be suitable for people who are not particularly sensitive.

I need to cancel/change my order, how do I do this?

We offer a full refund with cancellations up to 14 days before the agreed collection date. After this, we cannot issue a refund as money/work/time will have already have been spent on the cake.

How do I pay?

If you are looking for a pre-designed cake, add your chosen cakes to your cart and at checkout you will pay through our website. If you want a bespoke cake, fill out the form in the 'BESPOKE CAKE' section. We will contact you via email and provide you with a price. Then we will send a digital invoice over to you. Once that is paid, you will be all booked in!

 

Can you post/deliver my cake?

At the moment we do not offer any postal services for our flat bakes as we haven't found a suitable price to send the bakes at, as domestic postage for fresh food is quite expensive with tracking. And for our layer cakes, shipping a whole cake would not end up well (trust us). As for hand delivering cakes, we only offer this as an option if the order is very large and bespoke, such as wedding cakes.
 

Where is your shop?

We are a home bakery. So, when you come to collect your cake, expect to come to a house front. Our address will be on your invoice once you have paid, but please don't hesitate to ask for directions.

 

Terms and conditions 

Orders under £100 or those made with less than 6 weeks until the collection/delivery date must be paid in full to secure your booking. If you do not pay for your order, we cannot hold your date and we reserve the right to book orders on a first pay, first book basis.

 

Orders can be cancelled up to 14 days before the agreed pick up date. If you would like to cancel your order after this deadline, then, unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund. 

If your cake is damaged after you have collected it, we cannot be held liable for any damage that is made to the cake once it has left our premises.

If we are delivering your cake, we cannot be held liable for damage done to the cake once we have left the premises.  

Our cakes do not contain any preservatives, therefore the staling process will be accelerated if the cake is not kept in an air-tight container. Cake is also sensitive to heat. If your cake is left in a hot area it will melt. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that correct storage conditions are adhered to.

 

Our kitchen is not nut free, so our nut-free products may still contain a trace amount of nuts.
