Who are you?
We’re Leafy Creams! We are an independent, vegan-owned, all-vegan bakery based in Wigan with a passion for exceptional bakes, a 5-star hygiene rating and an honest approach. As one of the leading vegan bakeries in Greater Manchester, we're proud to create exciting culinary treats at an artisanal level.
We don’t have more than a couple of hands, but we do have a lot of passion and heart. What we aim to do is to bring delicious and show stopping vegan cakes to all sorts of people. Be that in Greater Manchester, or all over the North of England with our market stall. We are unapologetic about what we do; we are vegans with a traditional baking background and we know how important it is that options are out there, especially ones that you can trust in. That’s why we always aim to be transparent and approachable.
Are your products vegan-friendly/plant-based?
Where are you based?
Atherton, Wigan, Greater Manchester.
You are too far away from me!
Are you sure? If you live in the Greater Manchester area, then we can deliver your order straight to you. If not, don't worry! We try to pop up at plenty of Northern Vegan festivals and stalls, follow our social media to see where we'll be at next.
Allergens!: Tell me about them.
Absolutely everything you need to know about allergens can be found in detail here.
Are your products gluten-free?
At the moment we do not offer any specifically gluten-free products suitable for people with allergies. We are working from a small, home kitchen and do not have the workspace to safely offer gluten-free alternatives to those with gluten allergies. However we do make sponge without any gluten-containing ingredients, but that is up to the discretion of each individual.
Are your products nut-free?
At the moment we do not offer any specifically nut-free products suitable for people with allergies. I need to cancel/change my order, how do I do this?
We offer a full refund with cancellations up to 14 days before the agreed collection date. After this, we cannot issue a refund as money/work/time will have already have been spent on the cake.
To cancel or change an order, get in touch asap via our email: or send a message using the contact form here.
How do I pay?
If you are looking for a pre-designed cake, add your chosen cakes to your cart and at checkout, you will pay through our website. If you want a bespoke cake, fill out the form in the 'BESPOKE CAKE' section. We will contact you via email and provide you with a price. Then we will send a digital invoice over to you. Once that is paid, you will be all booked in!
Will you bake cakes for my cafe/shop?
In short, probably not, we have never been able to make wholesale work as the time and effort that goes into our artisanal bakes cannot be reflected in a wholesale price. We can definitely create a stunning bake for your shop's event though, so please feel free to get in touch.
Can you post/deliver my cake?
We offer hand delivery to postcodes all across Greater Manchester. If you're in the mood for some vegan cake in Bolton, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, Bury, Manchester, and of course, Wigan, then we can bring it directly to your door with our delivery van. Postage is not something we currently offer due to size restrictions and postage costs.
Where is your shop?
We are a home bakery, so we don't have a brick and mortar shop. When you come to collect your cake, expect to come to a block of flats. Our address will be on your invoice once you have paid, but please don't hesitate to ask for directions.
