INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS

We take allergens very seriously. And as Food Standard guidelines strengthen, we aim to be as transparent and helpful as possible to assist you in making an informed decision. 

All food traders must display the allergy information that is included on the packaging of the ingredients they use. Therefore, if any of the ingredients used to make our bakes say 'may contain milk' or any other allergen statements, we are required to make that known to you.

For us, we have found that this mainly affects our chocolate-based products as the dark chocolates we use often state that they 'may contain milk' or are 'not suitable for customers with an allergy to nuts, milk or wheat due to manufacturing methods'. When we use these ingredients you will be able to see these same allergen notices on our product pages. 

Rest assured that nothing has changed in our kitchen and that we are always committed to providing 100% vegan, plant-based bakes that are free of all animal products.

Cake Ingredients:

 

Triple Choc Cake sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), cocoa powder, veg oil, water, chia seeds, baking powder.

Triple Choc Cake Frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, melted dark chocolate (SOY), vegetable margarine, water.  

 

Vanilla and Salted Caramel Cake sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), chia seeds, baking powder, vanilla extract. 

Vanilla and Salted Caramel Cake frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, salted caramel, vegetable margarine, water.

Salted Caramel sauce: light brown sugar, coconut cream, veg butter, flaked sea salt.

 

Chocolate and Salted Caramel Cake sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), cocoa powder, veg oil, chia seeds, baking powder, vanilla extract. 

Chocolate Salted Caramel Caked frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vegetable margarine, water.

Caramel sauce: light brown sugar, coconut cream, veg butter, flaked sea salt. Not suitable for milk allergy sufferers.

Victoria Cake frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, vegetable margarine, water. 

Raspberry jam: raspberries, pectin sugar, lemon juice. 

 

Red Velvet Cake sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), cocoa powder, chia seeds, vegan red food colouring, baking powder.

Red Velvet Cake Cheeze frosting: vegetable shortening, vegan cream cheese, powdered sugar, vegetable margarine, water.

 

Cookie Dough Cake Sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), cocoa powder, veg oil, water, chia seeds, baking powder.

Cookie Dough Cake Frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, cookies (WHEAT, SOY), vanilla extract, vegetable margarine, water. 

Cookie Dough: plain flour (WHEAT), strong white flour (WHEAT), dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, vegetable margarine, chocolate chunks (SOY), salt, smoked salt, baking powder. Not suitable for milk allergy sufferers.

 

Oreo Cake Sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), cocoa powder, veg oil, water, chia seeds, baking powder. Not suitable for milk allergy sufferers.

Lemon Cake Sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), lemon extract, veg oil, water, chia seeds, baking powder.

Lemon Cake Frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, vegetable margarine, water. 

Lemon Curd: lemon, caster sugar, Oatly cream, turmeric, cornstarch.

 

Spiced Cake Sponge: white self-raising flour (WHEAT), golden caster sugar, vegan butter, soya yoghurt (SOY), lemon extract, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, orange oil, veg oil, water, chia seeds, baking powder.

Spiced Cake Frosting: vegetable shortening, powdered sugar, caramel flavouring, vegetable margarine, water.

Caramel sauce: light brown sugar, coconut cream, veg butter, flaked sea salt.
